After the tragic loss of his son, a man begins experiencing terrifying visions of a shadowy figure that looks like himself. As reality unravels, he must confront his past and the supernatural force haunting him before it consumes him completely.
Vertical distributes in the US. Vertical senior vice president of acquisitions Tony Piantedosi was quoted saying: “J.C.’s atmospheric direction, paired with Logan’s haunted and physically impressive performance, has resulted in a deeply chilling story that horror fans will love. We look forward to presenting the film to North American audiences this summer.”

The feature film directorial debut of J.C. Doler, who said the following: “After such a long journey, I’m incredibly proud to finally share ‘The Twin’ with horror audiences everywhere. It’s a story about the things we try to bury that somehow find a way to dig themselves out.”
Based on Irish folklore of a Fetch, which is a supernatural double of a living person.
Vertical released The Twin in Select Theaters and on VOD on July 1, 2025.
The Twin premiered on Shudder on August 29, 2025.
Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment released The Twin on UK Digital Platforms on January 12, 2026.
